On September 19th, the program staff and clergy at Trinity participated in a CPR and First Aid recertification. The training was led by Justin “JP” Prichard, a Buncombe County Community Paramedic. For the weeks following, we’ve all had “Stayin' Alive” by The Bee Gees stuck in our heads because it is the perfect song for hitting the 100-120 beats per minute required for ideal chest compressions. While we hope to never have to use these lifesaving skills, we are prepared if the situation should arise.
