Extending Support to WNC: Offering Compassionate Burial Aid in Difficult Times

Bluestem Conservation Cemetery is extending free green burial services to victims of Hurricane Helene and its aftermath.

Bluestem, located in Cedar Grove, is committed to providing environmentally conscious and compassionate end-of-life care. Their green burial services offer an alternative that honors both the deceased and the environment by using eco-friendly methods to return the body to the earth naturally. This service is being offered completely free of charge for those affected by the recent disaster.

While they are not publicly advertising this offering, they have reached out to us with this offer, and you can feel free to share it with your neighbors who might need it. We know that decisions regarding death care are deeply personal and complicated, and our goal is simply to provide a compassionate option during these difficult times.

Those interested in learning more about this offer or green burial services, in general, can visit the webpage.
