Debbie Cox, our director for Youth Formation and Parish Fellowship, has come up with another way to serve during this time in which we find ourselves. In addition to coming up with inventive ways to involve youth, creation of “Learn at Trinity” as an alternative to home school, and the now popular Dinners to Go, Debbie is volunteering her time to Positive Opportunities Develop Success (PODS). PODS are safe, free places where students can go to complete daily, remote assignments (much like “Learning at Trinity.”)

Debbie shops and then drops off breakfast for around 150 of the 300 students that are in educational pods throughout Buncombe County. Once a month Trinity is providing breakfast for 150 students. This is a need for students and so happy we are helping with this project!
